For many years, I used to think that the only reason why God destroyed Sodom was due to sexual sin, known as sodomy or homosexuality. Apparently, there was an underlying reason behind the direct cause and effect that let the people into that particular life-style. What was it? Read more

Daniel lived in the third year of Cyrus, King of Persia, and received a message and vision from the angel on the twenty-fourth day of the first month. He had been mourning for three full weeks. He had not eaten pleasant food, no meat or wine, nor anointed himself until three whole weeks. The appointed time was long; and he understood the message, and had understanding of the vision (Daniel 10:1-9). Daniel set his heart for twenty-one days to seek the Lord. He didn’t do it casually. Psalms 90:12-14, “So teach us to number our days, that we may gain a heart of wisdom. Return, O LORD! How long? And have compassion on Your servants. For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God, not of works, lest anyone should boast. For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand that we should walk in them. (Ephesians 2:8-10) Some people may think that by doing good works, you will gain attention from God and He will save you. You help the poor, you serve others, you visit the sick, and you are even actively involved in ministry. Yes, all of these things are good Read more

It’s not easy to trust someone you just met, especially a stranger. Your trust may grow after you know that person for a certain period of time. But think of this, sometimes we easily trust the pilot of the airplane when we fly. Do you ever take the time to Read more
